We don’t use any kind of chemical pesticides nor any of the organic pesticides, insecticides available in the market. We prepare our own Natural Bio insect repellent made by fermenting native cow urine, cow dung and 10 leaves known as Dashparni Ark in the farm itself which is very effective in controlling all kinds of insect pest and diseases. It is prepared using all-natural ingredients. We have adopted a mixed cropping method with 80% dicot and 20% monocot plants in a designated area as it will help each other in growing naturally. We have even gone to an extent of growing 15 crops in one area. We adopt a very natural way of farming by using farm made compost manure, Dashparni Ark, Panchagavya, Jeevamrutha, neem oil and compost manure. We only use dung and urine from indigenous A-2 cows. We don’t use weedicides, instead we mulch the entire farm land with natural materials which acts as a manure, maintains the humic content of the soil and helps in weed control. All the compost, manure, slurry, growth promoters, pesticides, fungicides etc are all made in our farm in a natural and organic way. Crop rotation is also practised in our farm.
