Sumathi Organic Farm is over a 100-year-old farm. Our ancestors have always been practicing organic farming in our land. We have continued traditional farming using natural methods once followed by our ancestors.
Sumanthi Organic Farm is spread over 160 acres and it is located 30Kms away from Mangalore city (Karnataka) at Yedapadavu Village.
Our entire farm and farming methods are certified under NPOP & NOP-USDA standards that is India Organic & US organic standards.

Viroga is a farmer owned brand. Our products contain no additives, is free from artificial preservatives, synthetic fillers or binders. 100% natural, Organic and made in our own Sumathi Organic farm in daily batches. Moreover, for our crop cultivation we use raw materials that are made in our farm and strictly prohibit the use of chemical fertilizers. We bring food to your table, which is honest and traceable to its source.
With the numerous chemicals and additives that are being added to almost all processed food today, you have to make sure that you're getting your food from a safe source. All our products at Sumathi Organic Farm are fresh and organic. We adopt a very natural way of farming by using farm made compost manure, Dashparni Ark, Panchagavya, Jeevamrutha etc.
The main USP of our brand is that our customers will be aware of the source of the products and the raw material used in our products, as it is completely grown in our farm, unlike other sellers who source out products from different farms then process and pack under their brand name.
All our products are organically grown, harvested, dried, powdered and packed in the most hygienic way possible and we do not use any 3rd party raw materials since it is a farmer owned brand.
At Sumathi Organic farms we maintain a cow farm and a poultry farm which consists of only indigenous breeds. Our indigenous cow breed consists of Gujarat Gir, Malnad Gidda, Kapila, Sahiwal, Kangrej, etc. A2 indigenous Cows are allowed to graze freely in our Organic fields. We don’t believe in keeping our cows bounded by ropes, they are left to graze freely unlike commercial diaries. Since our cows are well fed & healthy, they give more nutrient rich A2 products. All our farm made compost manure like Dashparni Ark, Panchagavya, Jeevamrutha etc are made using products of our A2 indigenous cows.
Sumathi Organic farms is a Certified Organic Farm that combines best environmental practices, a high level of biodiversity, the preservation of natural resources, the application of high animal welfare standards and a production method in line with the preference of certain consumers for products produced using natural substances and processes.
The maintenance of our soil fertility relies principally on the use of legumes, crop rotations, the application of composted animal manures, green manures and ground rock minerals. Weeds are controlled by mechanical methods while pests and diseases tend not to be a problem due to the inherent biodiversity in the system. Artificial fertilizers, herbicides, growth regulators and livestock feed additives are prohibited in our farm. We have adopted Mulching & mixed cropping method with 80% dicot & 20% monocot plants as it will help each other in growing naturally.
We practice Organic Cruelty Free farming.
Our sister concern Alva's Pharmacy which is attached to our farm, is the 1st Organic certified pharmacy in Karnataka. It is certified with npop and nop-USDA standard & GMP certified for processing.
We have a Herbal garden in which we have around 2000 varieties of herbal trees.
We organize field trips to our farm and educate locals on the importance of organic farming and encourage them to grow crops in an environment friendly way. We have also created a lot of job opportunities for the people in our village.
